WordCamp San Francisco, 2012

A WordCamp is a low-cost or no-cost event, usually held on a weekend, where WordPress enthusiasts gather to learn how to get the most out of WordPress, and more importantly meet and get to know one another. At WordCamp San Francisco, 2012 on August 4th, 2012 Matt Mullenweg gave an overview of the World of WordPress as he has for the last few years, talked about upcoming WordPress developments and answered questions from the audience. Much of the information comes from the annual survey of WordPress users, developers, and businesses and the data will be shared at WordCamp San Francisco. Here’s the link to the survey. Here’s last year’s “State of the Word

“If you wanted to catch up on the State of the Word address I gave on Saturday, the video and the slides are now online, or you can watch it embedded  [on my blog]. The slides are on Slideshare.”

P.S. WordPress 3.5 due on December 5th this year.
