Free HTML Resources for Bloggers

codeLearning HTML isn’t rocket science and most bloggers who do know how to code are self taught.  As it’ s quite  easy to learn and most bloggers may find they do quite well by learning less than 20 HTML tags and a few CSS tags through the use of free online HTML resources.   There are many free tutorials on the internet, as well as, online courses, HTML cheat sheets, tips, and tools that any blogger can use to learn basic HTML and CSS.

If you blog at WordPress.com you will not be able to edit your template. If you are using WordPress.org software on your own domain, or if you have a Blogger (blogspot) blog  then you can edit the underlying template.

Learning basic HTML will produce these benefits:

  4. Learning HTML, means you won’t be tied to using specific software and  if something happens to your software or your computer, as long as you have access to any computer with internet connectivity, you’ll always be able to make changes to your blog no matter where you are.

Most of these blogs are tutorials that you can repost just be sure to reference the page you get them from if adding them to your blog. Again thank you for this blog.

  2. It’s also helpful to know PHP if you are working with WordPress. Tutorials on PHP (and Java, which can be translated pretty easily to PHP) are plentiful on the ‘net.
