PollDaddy ShortCode for WordPress Blogs

Update: October 11, 2008 : PollDaddy polls have now been included in wordpress.com blogs.

Here’s some good news for some wordpress bloggers.

We have struggled to keep up with different compatibility issues with our polls and various version of WordPress over the past year, but we now have a method that should cover all versions of WordPress.

First of all, if your blog is hosted on WordPress.com then you do not need to install the plugin below. When you create a poll on PollDaddy.com, you can choose our new WordPress.com shortcode to insert into your blog post. If you are hosting your own version of WordPress then you need to install one of the plugins below.

-> wordpress.org bloggers read the announcement and get the plugins

wordpress.com bloggers sign up and get the shortcode

You can see you can see a sample poll also.

  1. 1. HOW do you get your picture or icon to come up in your blog, is that because you have an outside hosting so you can control your webpage rather than being limited to what wordpress offers?

    2. how did you get that cool vistor feature that shows where your visitors are from and when they logged into your blog. I find that fascinating

    Thanks again
